Song Review: "Take You Home" by Ryland Fisher

The most swoon-worthy song on the album, ‘Take You Home’ can be summed up as literally everything you’d love to hear on a first date. And immediately following ‘Whatcha Drinkin’ Bout’ on the album, it feels like a natural progression of that conversation. You can hear the spark of new love in the melody and floating electric guitar. The hook is irresistible and sweet. Ryland Fisher’s vocals are strong and sincere. The song’s great irony is that, if someone really stated their intentions in such an earnest way like this, you’d be begging them to take you home.
